Thanks to a new metric motor adaptor on its FMI range of dispensing and
metering pumps, Michael Smith Engineers can now offer more drive options
for these industry and laboratory proven units. The new options
complement existing fixed speed ac and dc drives, and include IP55 rated
single- and three-phase ac drives plus dc drives and geared motors, all
of which can be close coupled to the FMI range of pump heads. These
valve-less piston pumps have all-ceramic wetted parts and a flow range
from zero to 2,000ml/min. In dispense mode, the units can be set to
deliver quantities from zero to 1,280 ulitres/revolution with an accuracy
of +/-1%.
