Re-engineered ovoid gearbox is available in most ratios on short
lead time
Available from Mclennan Servo Supplies, the P5 ovoid gearbox has been
re-engineered to offer shorter manufacturing lead times for high volume
applications. Ratios from 25:6 to 15,000:1 are offered, with the 15 most
popular ratios available from stock. as well as additional standard
ratios, other options include custom shaft lengths, double output shafts,
integral torque limiting clutches or freewheels. The P5 unit comprises
precision cut brass spur gears and steel pinions mounted on spindles
running in bronze alloy bearings that have their own lubrication
reservoirs.
