Mayr's Roba-topstop modular electromagnetic fail-safe brake is suitable for vertical axis servomotor drives. It is available in three basic sizes up to 200Nm brake torque, complete with input and output flanges to suit all standard servomotor frames. Four models cover different types of assembly (servomotor/ball screw or servomotor/gearbox) in hub-hub, hub-shaft or shaft-shaft configurations, with Roba-ES (blind assembly) or Roba-EAS (torque limiting) couplings, as required.
