Torque limiting clutch is pneumatically controlled
The new Mayr EAS-Sp torque limiting clutch can be remotely controlled to
provide continuously variable torque requirements via a 1.5-6bar air
supply. The unit provides backlash-free torque transmission and is also
suitable for on/off clutching. Features include synchronous,
single-position reset; integral proximity sensor, and
shaft-flange/shaft-coupling variants. Seven sizes cover the torque range
4-2,500Nm, with bore sizes up to 95mm.
