Kabelschlepp Metool has introduced the EasyTrax chain, which combines a highly stable carrier design for long, unsupported lengths with flexible crossbars to allow quick installation of cables. The body of the cable carrier is made of special fibre reinforced plastic, the chain links being clipped together to achieve the desired length. The carrier body has flexible lamella like crossbars made from an elastic, durable material.
When cables are pressed in, the flexible crossbars swivel out forward instead of downward. This means that the compartment of the carrier remains clear and no space is blocked by a crossbar folding down.
End connectors are available with an integral strain relief comb to allow cables to be fixed quickly and reliably. Different methods of connection are offered. The chain runs quietly and smoothly, thanks to integral vibration damping and the short pitch of the chain links.
