R+W 'MK' bellows coupling range
Mayr has added a small unit to its EAS series of backlash free torque
limiting clutches. The EAS-Compact uses the same ball/detent principle as
its larger counterparts and transmits torque in both directions of
rotation. Synchronous, single position and ratcheting, multi-position
automatic reset versions are available for timing applications, while
negative rate Bellville springs provide optimum disengaging
characteristics. EAS-Compact is available in different basic designs for
either flange/shaft or shaft/shaft applications, complete with cone
bushing hub/shaft connection. Five sizes cover a torque range of 5-700Nm
with bores to 50mm diameter.
