'Roba' shaft coupling torque capacity is increased to 14,000Nm
Mayr Transmissions has extended its Roba-DS torsionally rigid coupling
range with the addition of three new sizes. At the lower end, the new DS
size 6 offers a 60Nm coupling for applications where bellows type devices
are considered inadequate. At the top end, there are two new sizes, 850
and 1400, providing torque capacities of 8,500 and 14,000Nm respectively.
Couplings are available as either a single flexible disc or double
flexible disc with various spacer sleeve lengths, and the hubs come with
bores and keyways or a cone bushing arrangement of up to 150mm bore size.
Roba couplings will operate at speeds of up to 15,000rpm.
