Overload clutch is aimed at high-speed applications
New from Mayr, the EAS Compact series of backlash-free torque limiting
clutches is suitable for high-speed applications up to 8,000rpm. Like the
company's ratchetting and synchronous auto-reset type clutches, EAS
products offer instantaneous disengagement on torque overload, with no
residual torque transmission during disengagement. Seven sizes cover the
torque range 5 to 2,800Nm, and shaft sizes up to 75mm diameter.
