Modelling And Simulating Drive Line Systems

SimDriveline is a new Simulink module from The Mathworks for modelling and simulating the mechanics of automotive and aerospace drive line and drive train systems. It includes tools for modelling transmissions, gears, clutches and rotating shafts within the Simulink environment, along with libraries of components, such as common gear configurations and dynamic elements. The new software provides an efficient alternative to 3D mechanical simulators because it focuses exclusively on rotating machinery mechanics.
