Online Ordered Prototype Service Is Upgraded

Materialise's Next Day online rapid prototyping service has been upgraded to include new software features. Firstly, you don't need an STL interface; Next Day II will now accept multiple formats. The software just reads the files and provides a shaded visualisation of the loaded part. As well as indicating whether or not the files are correct, the software's 'fixing' option will also provide data correction in seconds. In addition to the existing rapid quotation system, the new service allows quotation requests for multiple parts at the same time. And if you don't want to place an order immediately, there is a 'delayed ordering' feature, which allows you to reactivate the quote at your convenience.
