Epoxy Adhesive Is Serviceable At Cryogenic Temperatures

Master Bond's new EP29LPSP two-part epoxy adhesive/sealant is serviceable at temperatures as low as 4K. It is also able to resist cryogenic shocks (ambient to liquid helium temperature in five to ten minutes). The product will cure at room temperature but best results are obtained if heat cured at between 55 and 75oC for six to eight hours. The adhesive bonds various substrates, including metals, glass, ceramics and many plastics, and is a good electrical insulator when cured.
