EAO’s Series 46 EcoTouch family offers wide-ranging switching & control options

EAO has introduced a new family of particularly cost-effective devices to the UK’s industrial automation market.

In addition to new push-button switches, pendant controllers and signal light towers, EAO’s new Series 46 EcoTouch family also includes a comprehensive range of cost-effective selectors, joysticks, keylocks and E-stops that are all easy to assemble yet rugged and reliable in use, thanks to IP65 (minimum) compliance.

Typical applications:
• Food and beverage industry
• Machinery and production facilities
Lifting and moving equipment
• Heavy-duty and specialty vehicles
• Robotics and automated equipment

New EcoTouch switches
The new Series 46 EcoTouch switches include 22mm and 30mm raised and flush mount variants with plastic or aluminium bezels.

They are EN 60947-5-1 and UL 508 (depending on variant) compliant and are available in alternating current and direct current versions.

The AC variants can handle an alternating current switching voltage of 500V (maximum) and a maximum switching current of 10 amps per AC15 (maximum).

For DC13 applications, the new switches offer a direct current rating of 220V (maximum) and a maximum current of 5A.

New EcoTouch pendant controllers
Series 46 EcoTouch pendant controllers feature an ergonomic housing design able to accommodate up to five switches.

Two size options are available in a choice of two colours – grey or yellow. Rugged and sealed to IP66, Series 46 controller housings include an integrated cable gland and a metal mounting loop.

Optional wall brackets are available. The housings can be supplied empty or ready-populated with switches marked with symbols or labelled for application-specific operator controls.

New EcoTouch signal light towers
EAO’s new EcoTouch signal light towers are available in 24VDC or 230VAC versions designed for quick and simple ‘click and connect’ assembly.

Both variants feature reliable coloured LED-illuminated modules that deliver easy identification of machinery status.

They use a single point of wiring for easy connection, and are simply installed in most locations using a wide range of wall and panel mounting brackets.

Extension poles are available to facilitate the installation of the light towers in elevated positions.
