Omni-Directional Scanner Reads Damaged Labels

Thanks to the inclusion of 'code fragment' technology, Leuze Mayser's new BCL90 CAX omni-directional bar code scanner is capable reading contaminated or damaged bar code labels. Two models cover ambient and low-temperature (-35oC) environments and their common optical system with auto-focus feature enables accurate code reading at distances between 500 and 1,750mm, across a 400mm read width scan capacity. The device can scan at speeds adjustable from 600 to 1,200 scans/s, can operate as a stand alone unit or be part of an integrated system with up to 31 scanners linked in a multiNET Plus configuration.
