The high-precision bearings are manufactured by Pacamor Kubar Bearings (PKB), a company that specialises in the development and production of miniature ball bearings.

Offering competitive lead times and custom solutions to suit application requirements, R. A. Rodriguez will
now be able to serve aerospace customers requiring miniature bearings; the largest outer diameter available is 28.57mm.

The range consists of metric and imperial miniature ball bearings, as well as miniature angular contact bearings.

Manufactured in 440C stainless
steel, the miniature bearings are available in ABEC 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 tolerance classes.

A variety of retainer materials, speciality ball materials, coatings and closures are available on request.

The FAA-certified bearings are commonly used in aerospace,
defence, medical, commercial and industrial applications.

Designed for use in extreme, challenging environments, PKB speciality bearings can be used for space vehicles, satellites, cryogenics, gyroscopes, guidance systems, aircraft instruments and flow control systems.

PKB miniature instrument bearings have
been proven in innovative projects including the James Webb Space Telescope and the Mars 2020 Rover.

PKB has an in-house Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) to assist in advancing the shipment of FAA-certified aircraft bearings. Both PKB and R. A. Rodriguez hold ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications.
