Micronel reduces energy costs with decentralised compact DC blower solutions

DC blowers save space, energy and money, compared with other air sources such as bulky side channel blowers and compressed air systems.

Saving energy not only conserves resources, but is also good for the balance sheet. Energy efficiency is a critical concern for factories looking to reduce operational costs. One key area is the use of compressed air for drying, cooling, debris removal, cleaning, and material handling – applications where DC voltage blowers can offer significant energy savings.

While compressed air is widely used in industrial settings, it is notoriously inefficient, with up to 90 percent of input energy lost. In contrast, small DC blowers can provide a more efficient alternative for many air-moving applications, drastically cutting energy consumption and costs.
