Break-in fails to stop gearbox specialist Apex Dynamics’ business growth

During a recent break-in at Apex Dynamics’ UK headquarters, two gearboxes were used to smash through a wall at the back of their premises. Although the gearboxes suffered cosmetic damage and won’t be sold, they are still going strong.

Apex Dynamics UK recently discovered an unexpected application for its products — although not one it would endorse. The gearbox specialist had a break-in at its site in Nuneaton, with the intruder/s using two robust XLD planetary gearboxes to break through a wall at the back of the property into the adjacent premises, a beauty business.

Nothing was stolen from either business and, despite the damage, the gearboxes still work. Much like
its resilient products, Apex Dynamics continues to expand, undeterred by the incident.

The XLD planetary gearbox demonstrates the robustness of all Apex’s products. Like all Apex gearboxes, the XLD range boasts an industry-leading five-year warranty.

Designed for durability, reliability, and performance, Apex Dynamics gearboxes are expertly precision engineered and manufactured at the company’s advanced in-house production facilities from high-grade alloy steel.

Moving up a gear: Apex Dynamics expands into new premises
Apex Dynamics
UK is experiencing rapid growth, driven by a dedication to exceptional engineering and customer satisfaction. After what it describes as a “remarkable” 2024, during which the company bucked the global trend and achieved 20 percent growth, Apex Dynamics UK is now building on this momentum by moving to new, larger premises.

The larger facility provides customers with even stronger service, in addition to its guaranteed two- to three-week delivery times – made possible by
Apex’s ‘manufacturing to stock’ philosophy.

With a continually expanding range of gearboxes, rack and pinion systems, and connectors, Apex Dynamics will showcase its portfolio at tradeshows across the UK this year and tour its innovative Gearbus around the country, enabling more businesses to see its products in action.

Apex Dynamics UK Managing Director, Mike Gulliford, says, “We’re committed to creating breakthrough technology—just not like this!

“While our gearboxes were used for an unexpected
purpose during a break-in attempt, it hasn't affected our momentum or diverted us from our commitment to delivering high-performance gearboxes and solutions to our customers across the UK.

“At Apex Dynamics, we're focused on our customers by providing industry-firsts, like guaranteed delivery times and a five-year warranty. Our new headquarters provides more space for our expanding range of premium products. You can catch us this year at trade shows and as part of the Gearbus tour, which brings our technology directly to our customers.”
