Leuze Mayser has introduced a test monitoring unit for its safety light
barrier systems. The TMC 66, with its integrated muting controller,
triggers a cyclical system test at two second intervals for all internal
component as well as for the safety sensor. Other safety functions
include a start-up and restart disable circuit plus contactor control,
and an ability to monitor two muting sensors simultaneously. The unit is
applicable to through-beam or retro-reflective light barriers and
positive-opening safety switches.
