Gearbox Offers More Torque In A Smaller Housing

Leroy Somer's new Cb3000 motor gearbox is smaller and more robust than its predecessors, yet offers up to 40% more output torque - a development attributed to careful use of CAD techniques for gear mesh quality optimisation. The overlap ratio is increased and there are also significant reductions in friction losses and gear teeth stresses. The gearbox can be adapted to match a wide range of motors, while mounting options include foot, face or flange. Available in seven frame sizes, the Cb3000 has a torque range from 9 to 4,500Nm, and can be supplied specially reinforced for particularly arduous duties. A software aid is also available to match the right size gearbox to your application. Enter 423
