New from Leroy Somer, the Multibloc 2000 IA geared motor has all the
features required for hygienic applications in the food processing
industry. The case designed to be easily cleaned, with the minimum of
crevices to attract debris and allow wash-down water to pool.
The white epoxy paint finish is complemented by stainless steel nuts,
bolts and ID plates, while locking washers and snap rings are used
throughout to speed dismantling and re-assembly. The terminal box cover
uses a nitrile seal to keep the connections dry, and the connector itself
is sealed to IP68.
The gearbox can be used with fixed or variable speed motors (Leroy
Somer's Varmeca integral variable speed drive can be incorporated), to
provide high torque output at low speed.
