Lenze has introduced a range of small servomotors with integrated drives
called Fluxxtorque'. With rated torque from 0.45 to 1.6Nm and powers from
140 to 500W, these assemblies comprise a smooth bodied servomotor and
compact servo drive mounted to the rear of the motor. Thanks to its IP54
protection, Fluxxtorque can be mounted close to the process like the
dosing pump application illustrated here. These IEC standard units are
easily combined with inline or right-angle gearboxes and are self-cooling
without a fan. Fieldbus connections include provision for Profibus DP or
CANopen networking.
