HBM has extended the range of its family of PW12C load cells with a 750kg capacity unit for use in larger platform scales of up to 800mm x 800mm and 600kg capacity. Rated at IP67, the latest industrial standard unit features aligned output so that a number of different cells can be easily used together; platform scales can require up to four separate load cells, one at each corner of the platform.
The robust PW12C load cell is available with a wide range of options to meet the requirements of all possible applications. It is available in a non-ATEX version, ATEX Zone 1/21 that includes FM-approval or as an ATEX Zone 2/22 version. Customers also have a choice of accuracy class C3 or C3MR and the load cells are available with four different - 1.5m, 3m, 6m and 12m - cable lengths for increased flexibility and simplified installation.
The load cells can be supplied with any combination of options and HBM guarantees compliance with data as required by relevant laws on weights and measures. They also come with a data sheet, certificates and mounting instructions.
