Inverter-optimised motors achieve 'near-servo' performance
Lenze has extended its range of SDS inverter-optimised motors to include
new power ratings (now spanning 75 to 600W) and options. The units
operate in the frequency range, 0-100Hz, and are said to achieve
near-servo performance at significantly lower cost. Motors can be
supplied for open or closed loop control, with resolvers or incremental
encoders. In closed loop mode, a 1,000:1 speed range is possible,
together with controllable torque at zero speed.
