Eight Lenze , including seven hollow-shaft
helical worm units and one helical geared motor, provide the motive power
for Pneumatic Conveyors' new MB02 metering bale opening machine.
Developed specifically for non-woven textile blending lines, the MB02 is
capable of delivery rates up to 2,000kg/h, depending upon width and fibre
type.
Ranging in power from 0.25 to 0.75kW, these low backlash geared motors
drive machine components such as the chute roller and weigh belt
conveyor, all with inverter controlled variable speed for optimum level
and output control. The cubic shape of the units also helped to achieve a
high power density, saving space on the machine.
