The standardisation of the pin assignments for AC and DC applications in accordance with the international standard IEC 61076-2-116 and the resulting guaranteed manufacturer-independent compatibility have further boosted this trend.

in some cases without any meaningful benefit – Murrelektronik has also developed an extensive series of MQ 15 connectors that can cover a wide range of applications with power transmission values of up to 16A continuous loadm at a voltage of 600V for AC applicationsm and 20A at a voltage of 48V for DC applications. ‘CLICK’ to indicate a successful connection – and the power is flowing. 

The connection is dust- and splashproof to IP67, as well as shock and vibration resistant, making it fully suitable for industrial use, even in harsh conditions. 

And the hard silver-plated contacts guarantee long life (up to 500 mating cycles). Another important quality feature is the full PUR overmoulding of the ready-to-connect cables.
