Lee Spring has released a new CD-ROM cataloguing its 8,600-strong spring
range (compression, die, extension and torsion types) and featuring an
interactive spring selector to simplify specifying and ordering online.
Springs can be searched by type, entering wire diameter, outside or
inside diameter, free length, deflection, hole or mandril size, body
length/leg length, applied force or torque (torsion types), material or
part number. Users can specify metric or imperial units, or even a
combination of both.
The selection program also provides a specification sheet that can be
printed or downloaded as a DXF file for importing into CAD/CAM systems.
And if a suitable spring cannot be located from stock, there is an
alternative custom spring enquiry. Prices are accessed by simply entering
the quantity required.
