It’s pretty straightforward once you know what you're doing. In this quick guide, we’ll go over thread size, screw length, head diameter, and head depth. Plus, I’ll give you a heads-up on why getting the thread pitch right is super important and how measuring countersunk screws is a bit different. 

Tools you'll need
Before we dive in, make sure you have these tools handy:
1. Calliper: Digital or vernier, for precision
2. Ruler or measuring tape: For quick length checks
3. Thread pitch gauge: To get the thread pitch spot on
4. Magnifying glass: Useful for those tiny threads (optional)
