Aerotech has introduced a range of ultra-low profile, precision rotary stages, dubbed ACS LP, which feature high torque, direct-drive brushless servomotors and integrated air-operated collet chucks for tube or bar diameters from 0.5mm to 16mm. This modular range is available in three nominal widths of 100mm, 150mm and 200mm. An integral, seal-less and friction-less rotary union is used to deliver air to the collet assembly, its non-contact design ensuring long life and maintenance-free operation.
