Photovoltaic systems are becoming increasingly widespread in the home automation sector as evidenced by the drastic rise in installations year by year.
The ac/dc inverter comprises one part of a photovoltaic system and provides power directly to the electrical network or to a customer connected to the grid.
To increase energy efficiency within the inverter system, the demand for components with low energy consumption is growing because each component has a direct influence on the effectiveness of the inverter. In response to this demand, Panasonic Electric Works has developed the new LFG relay, designed especially for such inverter systems.
The LFG comes with a 1.5mm contact gap to comply with the standard VDE0126 and requires a mere 250mW holding power. The 22A LFG is hence perfectly suited for small inverter systems used by private households.
