The three pillars of automation: What lies ahead in 2024

Welcome to 2024! Have you made your New Year’s resolutions yet? Are you planning on dusting off those running shoes or finally getting around to reading Tolstoy’s War and Peace? Or perhaps you’ve opted to dispense with resolutions all together, as you defiantly tuck into a leftover mince pie.

Whatever the case, we’re not the only ones with such lofty aspirations. Manufacturing, too, is poised for an exciting year ahead – and nowhere is this more evident than in the realm of automation.

For my first column of the year, I’d like to share with you an interesting piece that recently passed my desk, by Tom Cash of industrial parts supplier, Foxmere.
