Aerotech has introduced the ASR1200 rotary stage for applications
involving the precision machining of small diameter tubular components,
such as medical stents. Designed to fit directly to a machine bed, the
unit features a special cutting fluid delivery system and a pneumatically
operated collet chuck with a clear aperture for product feed-through.
When coupled with Aerotech's MXH series multipliers, the ASR1200 is
capable of 0.63 arc-second positioning accuracy.
