HBM has developed INDUSTRYmonitor, a software product that enables efficient use of the company's FASTpress, press-fit controller and EASYswitch, switch checker. All displays and functions in the software can be varied to meet the requirements of different production processes, countries and individual operators .
INDUSTRYmonitor is used for process data acquisition, visualisation and data storage, and can be operated on Microsoft Windows-based industrial PCs and operator panels. Both stationary applications on site in production systems or machines and mobile service and diagnostic terminals can be included. Both wired (for example line PC or industrial PC) and wireless (for example WLAN, WiFi) systems are covered.
The software includes new integrated functions for transmitting the workpiece name, while component identification can be read via bus interfaces (CAN, Profibus, Ethernet) or barcode scanners (USB).
INDUSTRYmonitor operates via an Ethernet network with up to 12 process controllers. Cycle times are measured in seconds and the storage of process data can be displayed in the background.
