The u-blox ZED-F9P GNSS module, available from Mouser Electronics, integrates multi-band GNSS and real-time kinematics (RTK) technology in a compact form factor, to deliver concurrent reception of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou GNSS constellations.

GNSS signals from multiple frequency bands (L1/L2/L5), combined with RTK technology, enable fast convergence times and reliable performance for scalable applications, like robotic
lawnmowers and semi-automated or fully automated machinery.

The ZED-F9P ensures the security of positioning and navigation information by using secure interfaces and advanced jamming and spoofing detection technologies, to provide a wide range of correction services to optimise performance according to each application’s unique set of needs.

The ZED-F9P also comes with built-in support for standard RTCM
corrections, supporting centimetre-level navigation for local base stations or virtual reference stations (VRS) in a network RTK setup.

The module supports SPARTN format SSR-type correction services suitable for mass-market applications.

The u-blox ZED-F9P GNSS module is available in a 17.0mm x 22.0mm x 2.4mm Land Grid Array (LGA) package and features a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range.

u-blox modules are manufactured in ISO/TS 16949-certified sites and are fully tested on a system level.

The ZED-F9P module is supported by the u-blox EVK-F9P-00, evaluation kit also available at Mouser. The EVK-F9P-00 evaluation kit is a powerful and versatile tool for evaluating the performance of high-precision positioning products.

The u-blox EVK-F9P-00 kit eliminates the need for
an external power supply by providing a built-in USB interface power supply that also provides high-speed data transfer. This evaluation kit's compact size and user-friendly interface make it ideal for various applications, including laboratories, vehicles and outdoor locations.

Additionally, it can be used with a notebook PC, adding functionality to the entire design-in process.
