Faster, safer, greener: Why aerospace is embracing the power of a tech stack

The tech stack is opening up a new world of possibilities for sectors handling long commissioning lead times and we're starting to see significant traction in the world of aerospace. But what is
it?

In this context, the tech stack can collect physical and virtual data points within an organisation’s systems and link them together – providing richer insights. 

Information generated by top floor and shop floor systems
– such as virtual design tools and factory hardware – is gathered and connected into a single digital solution. This results in an integrated, comprehensive picture of each product across its lifetime – known
as a digital thread.

Creating groundbreaking efficiency
A key part of the solution is the digital twin, which allows you to create prototypes and models virtually before a single tool is picked up physically. But
only by capturing, storing, and effectively analysing that trial data via a full tech stack can the right calls be made to alter designs mid-commission, before mistakes are made and resources wasted.
