Kabelschlepp Metool will show its innovative Robotrax cable carrier for
robotic applications. Modelled on the human spine, it is claimed to be
the first truly three-axis carrier. Also on show will be the lightweight,
elastic Uniflex cable carrier with its integral steel cable, together
with the Quantum one-piece polypropylene extruded carrier, combining
near-silent, vibration-free running with high speed operation. Typically,
a Quantum installation will weigh about half that of a conventional
carrier on any given application. Related products on the stand will
include spring-operated hose and cable reels, motorised reels and flux
vector drives, plus slip-ring assemblies, cable festoons and Bubenzer
industrial brakes and spreaders.
