Outstanding resistance to aggressive and corrosive media and long service life are the key features of the new MZR 7255 micro annular gear pumps from Michael Smith engineers. These hermetically sealed and chemically inert pumps utilise rotary micro annular gear technology which ensures precise dosage and low pulsation, so they are particularly suited to pharmaceutical applications where the trend exists for smaller, more efficient production lines.
The MZR 7255 features rotors, bearings and shaft components made from materials such as ceramics and SSiC (sintered silicone carbide), which, combined with a magnetic coupling, enable the pump to operate effectively in the most demanding fluid transfer applications.
Measuring just 146mm x 70mm x 72mm and weighing approximately 33,00g, these pumps incorporate a precision motor and easy-to use control functions and are designed for flows from 0.048 ml/min up to 288 ml/min and maximum system pressure of 80bar.
