Aerotech's latest FiberMax air bearing AXR stage is suitable for
applications such as fibre optic bonding and welding. The unit offers up
to six axes of movement to a resolution of 2nm in the linear axes and
0.05 seconds of arc in the rotary axis. All the linear axes are driven by
Aerotech linear motors, providing direct drive with zero backlash.
