Cincon’s series of highly efficient, reliable, single-output AC/DC power modules are now available from Relec Electronics. The CFM400S series consists of six models, with outputs ranging from 12 to 54V and an input range of 80 – 264Vac. The
power output is 400W.

Power density is up to 17.3W/inch3 and efficiency is up to 94 percent. These characteristics contribute to minimising power loss in end equipment for high reliability and ease of thermal management.

No-load power consumption is
<0.5W making the CFM400S power modules ideal for power-sensitive applications.

The compact power modules have dimensions of just 5.0 x 3.0 x 1.54” (127 x 76 x 39mm), making them suitable for use where available space is limited.

The reliable
power modules are produced using Cincon’s automated manufacturing methods and supported by an extensive testing and qualification programme for reliable operation in demanding environments.

The ambient operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. Safety features include over-temperature protection with
Power Good and Power Fail signals.

The CFM400S power modules are approved to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and EN 55032, 47 CFR FCC Part 15C and meet IEC/EN 60335-1. Active power factor correction (PFC) meets EN 61000-3-2. The modules also and are designed for both conduction and convection-cooled applications.
