Areas include vehicle inclination and collision avoidance through tilt-angle and shock detection, up to more advanced concepts with IMUs capable of six-degrees-of-freedom position and acceleration measurement – enabling smart operation by pairing the IMU with GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System).
