AC-DC power modules bring benefits of higher density in a small form factor

In the quest for the holy grail of high power density in a compact power supply, the CBM101S single-output AC-DC modules have a profile height of just 17mm (0.67 inches).

The fanless power supplies have continuous short-circuit, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. As a result, they are ideal for a range of space-constrained industrial applications, including automation equipment, test & measurement instrumentation, and telecom
and network devices.

The full brick ac-dc power supplies have a universal input range from 90 to 264Vac with outputs of 12, 24, 28, 36 or 48V. The 100W ac-dc power supplies are
capable of 100W (peak power is 120W for five seconds).

In-rush current is below 8.5A, with a low leakage current of 0.25mA and no-load input power consumption is <0/5W. Efficiency is up to 94.5
percent.

Despite its size, the CBM101S integrates EMI filters, bulk capacitors and output capacitors, meaning that no external components are required to pass the EMI class. This contributes to the small form factor
and reduces the bill of materials.
The ambient temperature range is -40°C to +85°C and the modules have an operating altitude of 5,000m.

The CBM101S is UL/CE EN62368-1, EN55032 and CISPR/FCC Class B -approved and certified for Class I operation.
