Oriental Motor is years ahead – literally – with a long and distinguished manufacturing history which began in 1885 when Yasutaro Kuraishi started manufacturing and selling electrical equipment in Tokyo.
Synchronous motors, watertight and dust-resistant motors followed, five-phase stepper, AC motors and brushless DC motors were added, together with innovations such as motor control circuitry, and speed control systems and circuits.

Among them is a comprehensive range of brushless DC motors, manufactured in Japan and designed for various applications from simple implementations to complex control requirements.
The range includes the BMU series and the BLE2 Series, which have a motor and gearhead common to both drivers.
The BMU series offers easy speed control via a push and twist dial and has adjustable acceleration and deceleration and the capability to monitor torque or speed.
The BLE2 motor and driver can be remotely programmed using the free-of-charge MEXE02 software. It has alarm and torque monitoring functions and adjustable speed or torque and 16 programmable speeds. Motors in the BLE2 series are waterproof; rated to IP66.
Oriental Motor is also renowned for its industry-leading range of AC induction motors. The high quality, robust design, high torque and wide selection of gear heads make them ideal for conveyors where a varied selection of speed and torque options can accommodate a wide variety of end applications.
