The IRC40 is offered in a 40x40mm rectangular housing with an IP69 enclosure rating that protects against any water and moisture penetration during the washing cycle and provides
an extended sensing distance of up to 40mm, making it highly suited to conveyor systems.

The operating temperature, from -25°C to +80°C, provides consistent and reliable operating performance.

The
push unlock mounting system presents an easy and flexible installation whilst the LEDs on all 4 corners ensure excellent visibility from all directions providing status monitoring for diagnostic
functions in the event of a short-circuit or overload, switching and operating status. Shielded or unshielded versions are available with output configurations (NO+NC), NPN or PNP.

The new IRC40
series of sensors complement the company's industrial control and automation offerings for conveyor systems, materials handling, agriculture, logistics centres, escalators, and product lines.

All IRC40 sensors are approved by CE, UKCA, and UL.
