SPDE series, slimline, single-phase DIN-rail power supplies provide crucial space to any electrical panel

Carlo Gavazzi has launched a new range of high-performance slimline, single-phase power supplies.

The SPDE series has a universal AC/DC input range of 90 VAC - 264 VAC or with DC voltage 120 VDC-370 VDC.

Output voltages of 12VDC, 24VDC and 48VDC and an output power range from 75 up to 480W are
available.

Each power supply provides exceptional operating efficiency of up to 94 percent at 230VAC and an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +70ºC, as well as overvoltage category II.

PFC (Power Factor Correction) can increase power quality and efficiency which,
in turn, will lead to a reduction in unnecessary energy costs.

The narrowest housing design is only 32mm wide and the widest model is just 48mm for the 480W unit, which can provide up to a 50 percent space saving.

The SPDE
Series provides output short circuit, over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection, and DC ok output relay indication on the SPDE…R models and MTBF over 300,000 hours, as well as screw terminal connections.

The new SPDE series of switching power supplies compliments the
company's industrial control and automation offerings for OEMs and machine manufacturers, as well as other applications, such as food & beverage, vending machines, system integrators and end users, where panel space can frequently be at a premium.

All SPDE power supplies are approved by CE, UKCA, UL61010 and UL62368.
