Electrical connectors used in harsh environments, such as those regularly encountered in military applications, must endure extreme conditions while maintaining
reliable performance. From rapid temperature changes to excessive vibrations, connectors in these applications must operate reliably to ensure that operators can
get the job done.

Reverse bayonet connectors are typically used in these environments because of their superior reliability and robustness. In
fact, reverse bayonets are the accepted standard connector for military ground vehicles because of their advantages over alternative connector options. Generally,
the advantages of reverse bayonet connectors can be grouped into three categories: user-friendliness, reliability, and robustness.
