Invertek Offers Its New Drive On A Plate

Invertek has launched a PCB-based variable speed drive for applications normally considered too arduous for conventionally constructed and housed drives. The Compact Optidrive uses a stainless steel plate on which the electrical connections and laser trimmed resistors are directly printed. The remaining electronic components are also mounted on this plate. Its inherent low profile ensures a high vibration rating, which coupled with the strength of the steel plate and the fact that the entire electronic circuit can be sealed, ensures a high overall environmental rating for the product.
