Dymax 1000

The series 'MD' medical device adhesives from Intertronics cure in second on exposure to both visible and UV light. Cure time reductions of up to, or exceeding 50% are claimed, when these products are cured with lamps offering appropriate UV and visible spectral outputs (Dymax Medi-Cure, for example). MD adhesives fluoresce brightly when exposed to low-intensity black light, facilitating in-line inspection of the adhesive bond area before and after the curing process. They are compatible with many automated vision inspection systems, making them suitable for high speed, high volume production of syringes, reservoirs, tube sets and catheter assemblies.
