Change has always required bright young minds, and the next generation is important for a sustainable, healthy and successful future.

Lenze starts the campaign #CourageForClimate. 34.8 billion metric tons – that is how much CO2 is emitted annually, fuelling global climate change. In Germany alone, the figure is 753 million tons. We all have a responsibility for
this – no exceptions. Everyone heats their homes, consumes food, goes online, and uses transportation. This is where the forests come in. A single tree can convert up to 22 kilograms of CO2 into oxygen per year.

In its 75th anniversary year, Lenze gets moving for the climate! The goal is to cover 75,000km to get many new
trees planted.

Become part of Lenze's #CourageforClimate campaign.

What: Running, walking, cycling, swimming, paddling, inline skating – the main thing is to get moving. For every kilometre you cover, Lenze donates to projects that support the reforestation of regional forests at Lenze's sites. And of course, you’ll also be doing something good for your health.

When: The
join-in action runs from 1 September to 15 October 2022. Were you very active during your summer vacation and exercised a lot? No problem.

How much: If we reach 75,000km together by mid-October, Lenze’s donation will amount to 37,500 euros.

Who: Whether you are an employee or belong to the circle of Lenze's customers or partners: lace up
your running shoes, get on your bike, or swim a few laps in the nearest swimming pool. Or whatever else you can think of. The best thing to do is to start right away and keep a record of the distance.

Until mid-October, every kilometre counts. Because every tree counts for the climate; more information about planting the trees shortly later.
