Dymax USP Class VI compliant light curing adhesives, distributed
exclusively in the UK by Intertronics, have recently obtained ISO 10993
certification for biocompatibility. The products can now be used on
devices for systemic injection, subcutaneous injection, muscular implant,
cytotoxicity and hemolysis. Dymax 1000 series adhesives react to visible
as well as UV light, resulting in cure time reductions of up to, or
exceeding 50%. Ultra Light-Weld technology also permits bonding of UV
inhibited and tinted plastics to form crystal-clear bonds in seconds.
