That's Intertronics' claim for its range of Dymax spot curing systems for
precision bonding, mounting and fixturing of optic and optic fibre
components. The BlueWave 200, delivering 20W/cm2 in the UVA range, cures
with single, double or quadruple wands in seconds, while the smaller
blueWave 50 offers 3W/cm2 intensity and is able to cure most UV adhesives
in less than 10s. Both provide process control capability, a choice of
light guides to suit a variety of curing applications, and both achieve
low IR emissions.
