Aerco has been appointed as the first stocking distributor of CEEP
high-power waterproof connectors. The CEEP range provides a performance
similar to that of MILSPEC connectors, but without the price penalty. The
company claims that its S92 connector, for example, is the most robust
and competitively priced waterproof connector on the market. Available in
shell sizes of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 70, and with more than 40 contact
arrangements, the S92 has an adjustable twist seal cable gland system
that avoids the need for screws or clamps, making assembly simpler and
faster. A standard S92 connector is IP67 rated, but the unit can be
supplied with IP68 environmental protection, if required. For salt water
applications, the connector is supplied with a special non-conductive
protective finish.
