Miniature Servo Drive .

Miniature servo drive InMoCo's new Helmo Harmonica miniature servo drive can be configured as a fully digital, velocity or current mode amplifier, as a drive within a distributed motion system operating over a CANopen network, or as a stand alone, single-axis motion controller - all from a package measuring just 82x25.4x75mm. The impressive spec includes position loop, and both digital current and digital velocity loops, all with auto-tuning adjustment supported by an accompanying auto-configuration software pack. Rated for 3.5-8.5A operation from a 12-180Vdc supply, Harmonica derives its control and auxiliary supplies from a 24V ac/dc supply that is isolated from the internal dc bus. This provides an economical power back-up when the drive is used for positioning duties.
